• Keep mother’s recipes alive, try one each month.
• Self care and exercise.
• 'No strings attached' attitude.
• Work is duty, work is worship, but I will not get emotionally involved.
• Try funky, quirky new things.
• Go back to yourself.
• If not now, when?
• Keep taking pictures and videos of home, family, nature.
• Take long walks.
• Discover new paths.

Shower of Blessings

Across the bejeweled sky roof,

arrested by a countless gaze,

a shining messenger of light wonders

how many a secret wishes

shall I fulfill this moment!

:: It was a magical night, as we watched the Geminids Meteor Shower last week, from the Wathba Desert near Abu Dhabi. I counted more than 50 shooting stars, as the boys cuddled up in sleeping bags.We enjoyed the star party, sipping on warm tea, listening to the silent dialogue between the studded night sky and the cool fabric of the desert. It was indeed a shower of blessings!
