An entrancing slumber
when casts upon me
a spell of lazed lifelessness,
her mellow hint of light
nudges my back.
Wakes me up to senses,
nuzzled in a known warmth.
My eyes traipse
all over the sky
to trace the glint
that shook me
from my dreamy daze.
I find her right outside
by the windowpane,
filtering musky winds
mingled with bird songs.
She enters minds ajar,
igniting her spark.
My morning.
I saw you first today!
when casts upon me
a spell of lazed lifelessness,
her mellow hint of light
nudges my back.
Wakes me up to senses,
nuzzled in a known warmth.
My eyes traipse
all over the sky
to trace the glint
that shook me
from my dreamy daze.
I find her right outside
by the windowpane,
filtering musky winds
mingled with bird songs.
She enters minds ajar,
igniting her spark.
My morning.
I saw you first today!
