How would it be,
to share with another,
the intimate confines
of a mother’s womb…
The snug bosom bond,
now equally divided,
for evolving existences,
distributed in two.
A soul companion
echoes alive,
as twin hearts throb
within entangled limbs.
Of divided driblets,
a struggle united.
Skin to skin warmth,
combines their twofold form.
First vision -
a reflection of self,
to hold a trembling finger
in the daunting dimness.
Like Yin and Yang,
a mirror image so utterly interwoven.
Their life’s incompleteness continues,
in search of the other half.
~ Wondering how would it feel to be someone's twin ...
Do they complete each others existences...

Nice one. Being a twin I can say that we are connected but at an unknown deeper level. Frankly I connect better to my sister than to my twin. We are completely different in every aspect of life, yet find happiness in each others company. and its our respective other halves who have to cope with us wanting to be together :)
ReplyDeleteI actually thought of you while writing this one...
DeleteMaybe non twins can never understand that kind of bond in its true sense...
Interesting thought...what made you think of this?
ReplyDelete...was reading 'The God of Small Things' again...maybe thats the reason.
Delete..Or was it intuition!
