Crimson rays of dawn
knot up with pastel cloud ribbons,
promising a beautiful day ahead.
An unarguably blue sky
gently looks over the unworried river;
The song of shade and light
is tinged with a calm April breeze.
Hushed by deep full breaths,
I sit under enticing cool shadows
of an abundantly blossomed tree
and let Time just be...
...then watch Him slip away quietly,
into fragrant documents of memory.
