Everything is Fine

I miss getting carried away.

Time isn't waiting for me these days.

I skip my inward indulgence,

the afternoon sun keeps nudging me.

Take a pause.

Let us live the simpler life again.

My lashes long 

for distant distractions.

Birds and blooms 

remind me, its evening.

A brisk walk seems weighed down 

by woes of daily life.

Yet, everything is fine
